偏三甲苯、均三甲苯以 C9 芳烃为原材料采用精馏法分离而制得的，偏三甲苯主要用于生产偏苯三酸酐、染料、环氧树脂固 化剂、表面活性剂、医药等的原料，还可用作于双氧水生产的萃取剂。
均三甲苯用作制取均苯三甲酸、抗氧剂、环氧树脂固化剂、 聚酯树脂稳定剂、醇酸树脂增塑剂、2，4，6- 三甲苯胺原料。
